Exactly this. Saying "don't break the law" is like saying "oh, if you have nothing to hide, why aren't you letting the cops search your car without a warrant?" or "if you have nothing to hide, why did you run?" It's a naive view.

I don't like it either. I know he agreed but saying "get a vasectomy or go to jail" seems more like coercion than anything else.

It kind of is, if not taking the deal would mean more time in prison.

What cracks me up is that I took the time to wonder about the "early" c-section (and even had the thought, "wow, I had no idea we could save babies THAT young"), but truly didn't, even for a second, think about figuring out how young was young.
