No way to block people here?
No way to block people here?
It’s other govt branches too! I know someone who works at library of congress and they were told not to come to work today.
Loling at the idea that Joe M from HENDERSON North Carolina has ever been to MXDC. No, buddy. We know you haven’t.
Yeah glancing, sure! But I don’t stare and I don’t think real adults do. The idea of not being able to focus on a conversation with your partner because you’re so distracted by another woman is really sad to me.
It’s “toxic” to ask your SO not to leer at other women?
Lol okay, somebody’s read an evo psych article and is hella jazzed about it!
Yeah I was taught “staring is rude” as a very young child and it doesn’t suddenly become okay just because the person is hot.
My boyfriend never does it, or if he does I don’t notice! To be fair, I am not sure I would unless it was super obvious. I just don’t think about other people when I’m out with him. Other than making sure I don’t run into anyone I don’t pay a lot of attention to people when I’m walking somewhere. I do notice good…
I don’t understand why it’s supposedly such a struggle for some people to not leer at strangers all the time. I don’t do it and didn’t when I was single because I have manners and I’m not obsessed with sex.
Well idk, maybe in California or something. It’s never happened to me anywhere on the east coast.
Where do they do that with water glasses?
What about hard plastic straws, that you can wash and reuse? I had some silly straws as a kid that were like that but I imagine there must be regular shaped ones too. Are they too hard, like the metal and bamboo ones?
According to the story, that’s not what happened
this is true
That’s a totally fair point. But I wouldn’t let ANY 3 year old pour their own syrup in a restaurant! I wouldn’t want to ruin the server’s day like that. Unless the 3 year old was already very much above their age cohort in syrup-pouring abilities from much practice at home lol.
I actually don’t think I’d let a three year old pour their own syrup in a restaurant regardless, because they’re likely to make a big mess for the server to deal with. And because kids generally think they need the whole jug lol. I get that that’s not the point here, though.
God yes indian food is the BEST veg
Hahaha yes do we have the same vegan friends?
Yes! One of my favorite taco recipes is roasted cauliflower and chickpeas with spices and lime, topped with avocado. I do usually top it with crema but my actually-vegan friend informs me that vegan yogurt would work just as well. Or just omit that ingredient and you have delicious vegan tacos
Agreed! I’m not vegan but I have vegetarian or vegan dinners regularly, and they are usually based around good hearty veg like cauliflower and eggplant (or chickpeas!), and something like curry sauce or harissa or some other yummy seasoning. Sad fake meats?! Yuck. It’s easy to make delicious vegan food! I had…
