Amen. I mean, I love the man - but having to do this must feel like some sort of exhausting obligation some days.

Gah. Haven't seen it yet. Its only a week old. Jeez - at least throw a warning out there!

I usually go with "significant other". I'm a little old to go with 'girlfriend' (as is she). This is also a really good way to weed out people who would be freaked out were I in a same sex relationship (these are people I generally don't care to associate with) as they will push and push until I slap a gender on

I'll HAPPILY point fingers are her family - and you're right, she's much like Ned in that she refuses to see the world as it is. Never looked at it that way.

Thats what I thought, but memory didnt serve. Thanks!

I dont think she should have done anything else. Her refusal to see the world for what it was in the early stages of the story really were really off-putting for me - I didnt want to read about another 'dumb girl who didnt get it because of princesses and ponies'. Shes a lot more tollerable now, but I've had a very

*chuckle* You're right, of course. Because I dislike a character in a book means I'm a woman loathing dickhead.

Also, wasnt that more Gerold Dayne who did that, and less Sand Snake? Its been a while since Ive read the book.

You're right - i did a crud job of explaining my Logic. The sand snakes very well may try again, but i think that Doran is pretty dedicated to keeping her alive. Hes already demonstrated that he's better than them at getting what he wants, albeit barely and not without a goodly deal of help from a certain Axeman.

*SPOILERS*

No. She's awful and I hate her.

Im not sure I see this. Not that the sand snakes arent capable - but after spending so much time going on and on about the wrongs the mountain laid upon them, it would just seem too much to have them turn around and off the girl (though I guess, if they can pass on the rape, maybe its all good?). I'm guessing Tommen

Fool. Love it.

Hey, dont knock the Hawker Hurricane and (later) the Spitfire. Great aircraft. The Lancaster is underrated as well - decent bird (not that the Brits had much need for Bombers at first).

I'm out of wit, and I'm sorry. Please God - only date men who know better in the future. Some things are just unacceptable.

Well said - then again, why stop at dogs? If we applied that same logic to humans as well...

...Now you're just exaggerating. Everyone knows that the scale goes apocalypse<————>casual friday, then business casual, then formal wear. Three pair of pants, three shirts, BOOM. Done. :)

This. I should have put that qualifier in there. I will shop my ass off for formal wear. SO PRETTY. Anything else? pfffft. Falls under practical clothing and is treated with the same reverence as my hammer. (Does it do the job at hand? GOOD, i dont need another. The job here being "not getting arrested for

Thanks for the information! Assume that the above has been edited to "not here to bicker the form or function that dog love takes compared to human emotion" and "...and has FAR LESS THAN PERFECT ABILITY TO..."

Preach. I know you love your dog. Your dog loves you as well - in whatever capacity dogs love (not here to bicker THAT unknowable point). However, its still a dog. It's still programmed to attack prey animals, defend its pack, etc, and has ZERO ability to understand context. Leash it - if you don't, when animal
