LW3, I don’t know about your friends, but I’ve always been under the assumption that text is designed with the intent of the receiving end person to reply to it when they see it and have the time to reply, not immediate response.

Nah, they like independence, it would probably boost her above 50%. Her closest competitor has been a Libertarian. She also has all the support from the money makers in Alaska. Really, the only thing she has to lose is...nothing.

I am disabled, so I keep odd hours, often staying up late. I get these urges to email my sisters to tell them something or other that occurred ro me in the wee hours (11pm or later) but fear that their phones would ping if they get a message. So I write a draft email and hit send in the morning.

I’d love to see that from her or Collins. Both of them have recently been threatened with physical violence by GOP Representatives (obviously not seriously, but still). Either would do just fine as independents; Collins might do even better, since Maine is not a Republican state.

She was primaried by her own party and still won. So she’s basically an independent in all but name. She should actually drop the R and turn the tables on Donny.

I’m from Maine originally, although I no longer live there. If Donald comes for Susan Collins, he’s only going to make her more popular. The only way he could threaten her is to cut her support from a certain subset of Republican voters, while making her more popular among independents and Democrats.

It’s a little weird to single out Murkowski, given that every amendment was voted down by numerous Republicans. I’ve lived in Alaska, and I doubt the people there are going to be happy that Donald is threatening them.
