It’s just gotten to the point that news like this just depresses me. It’s just another reminder of the kind of thing that’s supposed to obviously matter, but that obviously isn’t going to.
Good thing your personal experience is universal, and all dogs are the same, then.
Sounds like you have some serious dog-parenting skills!
But... you still don’t know her dog.
The kind that thinks he can do anything/gets drunk and decides a little sexual assault on a the woman driving the car he’s in at 65 mph is a good idea/never has had to really face consequences of his actions.
I’m actually puzzled that it isn’t safer. A regular cab driver would have to pick up fares on the street but to get a Uber you have to provide information about yourself. What sort of moron do you have to be to assault a driver who can identify you and prove where you were?
There are lots of women plumbers, electricians and delivery drivers. My UPS driver is a woman, and she’s awesome. We also hired a woman electrician to install our light fixtures and she was also awesome.
When life gives you lemons, choke life to death on the lemons.
I haven’t watched RHOC for many seasons, but I’m gobsmacked Tamra’s usurped Vicky as the center orange. Also, “baptized?” Is she born-again in an obnoxious, second coming of Alexis Bellino kinda way?
I don’t know if I can take another season of Vicki and Kelly.
Also, can we acknowledge that heterosexual romcoms in general are not going to be the feminist breakthrough point in Hollywood? Whether it’s Trainwreck or Bridesmaids or whatever- for every great step forward for feminism in those movies there are equally as many setbacks. These movies all have the same endpoint:…
Thank you! That is exactly how I felt reading this, biracial and pissed.
I can see where the author (and others who write about interracial relationships) are coming from, but yes...I also agree with you.
THANK YOU. As a biracial woman, I am tired of people saying my parents love was invalid. That it was just serving colonialism or serving to oppress black women. If women of color really do not hold men to be the locus of their lives, then do Kumaili and Aziz really need to represent brown women on screen for them? Let…
Personally I’m tired of people attacking interracial relationships. I hated when Jill Scott did it several years ago and I hate it now. Because underneath the rant about interracial relationships is the hatred of biracial people. We get it, you don’t think we should exist.
I’m really curious as to what christie is going to do when he leaves office. He’s so unpopular across the aisle (see Kim Guadagno’s repudiation of him this weekend) that I can’t imagine any law firm hiring him. Can he become a lobbyist? Who will be desperate enough to hire him?
Don’t forget this one, from Seth’s sister.
I am o% surprised that Lauren Conrad would pick one of the most common baby names out there for her child. Despite any teenage bar-hopping antics she was always destined to become a mommy blogger-esque (even if she never starts a blog) type who only wear pastels and lives in a very white house in her 30's. Good for…
