It’s clinical and starting to get boring.

I don’t know how this could be viewed as anything other than good news.

I think it might be more of a whir like rc cars.

Or at least some reassurance that he isn’t a drug dealer. If I’m seeing piles of rust and then a 100k SUV I’m jumping straight to drug dealer.

Outside of F1 and Nascar doesn’t it feel like pro racing is shrinking or dying?

Of all the comments in this thread this is actual gold. I’d never heard that it undervalued a total loss due to aftermarket parts. It does make sense though, all the premium junkers like LKQ want stock not one off parts.

I realized I didn’t fully answer the question. I would be happy even with a base model Giulia, but I’m still holding out hope that the Mito qv gets brought over.

Nooooo! My reliance on auto correct and Mobile has been exposed. Good eye.

Shhh! We need people to buy these so that they depreciate like a rock falling from a skyscraper and all jalops have a shot at it.

I’m shocked and outraged that a machine that doesn’t have S class level sound deadening makes noises. Shocked I tell you.

Maybe it’s just me, but don’t we all know it’s not really going to happen till Amazon or Tesla announces it?

Stories like this are what makes me love car culture. Hopefully the car gets passed down and the story continues. Also, those 80's Toyotas are looking real good.

What if he’s working on a Smart Voltron?

Outside looking in, it would seem that they didn’t have to innovate to make the sales goal. A decades old product sold fine so why change it? It also seems like their base wouldn’t accept change so they didn’t risk it, giving them a catch 22.

I wonder if this is a test bed to see if they can launch the Miata restoreation project here. Even a clean example of the millenia will likely require an extensive refresh. They get experience, then bam Mazda hits us with the program.

It would seem the bubble is leaving Detroit iron and shifting to the 80's and 90's. This is a worrying trend for anyone looking to pickup cheep fun 90's cars.

I appreciate the response and hope you don’t think that I was being overly critical of the story. It was a big disconnect for me to take on when hearing that a team went from a five hundred dollar budget to one that I’m sure is infinitely larger.

I took a few minutes to find it, his name is Will Hardeman. The announcers track side said his family owns a dealership and he seems to be connected to Cag Austin. It took a story that was about a normal guy underdog and made it about someone that has the backing of a dealership.

I’m thinking lots of money changed hands. I was at the race at Cota last year and the track announcer was talking up a Texas based driver that went amateur to pro after doing a track day at Cota. Being that the guys was older, 30's, I was impressed and thought maybe it could be my path. Then the bubble was burst when

Was he in a V6 Camaro recently?
