Is it an homage with a twist worthy of praise, or a bootleg that’s not as good the original? That is the true question for me.

What gets me is that the thieves don’t care about what damage they do. It’s not like they stand by the road and say “What’s the safe jack point for this car?”.

It’s bad enough with people that can’t drive Suvs and crossovers without trying to kill everyone, but now imagine being killed in silence.

Shame on Ford for building an almost rally car, and not telling people it will have Ferrari type service cost.

It’s crazy that I’ve heard of it and also totally forgot about this piece of history.

I hate this car. It looks like an accountant said “find a way to shave 10 percent off the sheet metal on the 86, but make it look like we made it more sporty.” It’s a big step backwards for their almost sporty image. Not to mention the weird I’m almost a manual shifter. Taking cues from the wec powertrain is

I love this car. It’s drop dead beautiful. To me it fits the new Bruce Wayne. Think about it, he is supposed to be beyond rich, so why wouldn’t he drive a custom one of a kind. It’s highly impractical, probably requires a whole mechanic crew to tend to it, and can’t be parked anywhere. It’s an I’m richer than you

I am so unbelievably bummed out to see that COTA will no longer host the race. Today was a healthy crowd, not as good as last year when it was combined with IMSA, but man this takes the wind out of my sails. Hopefully the crowd comes out tomorrow to send it off with a bang and not a whimper.

This idea of a reissue has been killing me for over a decade. I wish other car companies got behind this idea of a reissue.

Biggest catch 22 I’ve seen in a while. Honda seems to be getting better as the season progress, yes I consider finishing a race in the points and not blowing up progress. They need more data and yet no one is willing to gamble on them. I hope they get a chance because I’m not sure I can handle another manufacturer

Even though we get bits and pieces of each staff writer, we never get to see the full story of how they got there. It would be cool to know how each of you ended up there.

What I want to know is what bank would actually finance this at double the cost of msrp? I’m sure they take one look, new and or used and say “ha-ha, nice try.”

    Love is a crazy thing.

I’ve been tempted to do the course on one of their half off sales, but I’m curious as to what went wrong. Why two days in hotel, no track time?

Am I wrong in thinking it looks like a 2000 model GTO?

I can’t help but think that it’s a step back for hybrid tech. As crazy as these cars are, that reach for the stars tech does trickle down eventually.

I’m okay with the contraction of the brand. I seriously considered a bike this year and still plan on doing a safety course, but I never once looked at Harley. I am more interested in street bikes and cafe racers. Lower cost and more options are what I want.

Don’t quote me, but I thought it had more to do with gray market imports undercuting local sales in North America in relation to trim level and engine packages. Why pay more when you could get the one with more power and pay less due to the strength of the dollar. I could be wrong, age tends to do that.

While I can agree that this example is a nice one, I still have a hard time thinking that Supras will march on to be classics or ever justify that price. For contrast the most lusted after Toyota, the 2000 GT, has that classic pedigree and rarity that makes investors park massive sums of money to see it appreciate.

It’s hard to say it as a Toyota fan, but this car is dead to me. The market valuation of the car is totally upside down. They would be more attractive if the good ones were listed in the mid 40k’s, but instead even high mileage ones are going for 60k.
