Damn, put some respect on voice actors. The good ones are truly acting and more skilled about how they’re using their voice than just reading lines. Not to mention the ones that can do drastically different voices on top of that.

Yeah, this site used to be the best for in-depth, thoughtful reviews... Now all we get is this recap garbage. Back when Allison Shoemaker and Alasdair Wilkins were writing for the site, I’d come here just to read their reviews. Now I just visit out of habit.

We mentally assign movies into those two categories based on fairly superficial characteristics like “does it have fun violence/explosions” or “does it have weighty themes” but there’s not really any reason to do so aside from buying in to the standard argument…
