If you think you can run a show safely without staff, you know nothing about running a show.

Wait, why are we leaving that “indigenous [sic] third-gender/two spirit stuff at home?” Why are we leaving non-binary people out of the conversation entirely? Just because it’s hard?
1. First of all, that link doesn’t work. Even if I take the link as true, sex offenders allegedly exploiting the system in prison is such a vanishingly small percentage of folks it doesn’t even begin to support your argument
“ the very real problem of distinguishing genuine trans people from the mentally ill people/misguided teens/trenders/attention seekers/sex offenders presenting themselves as (if not really being) trans and attempting to hijack the movement.”
Non-binary typically flies under the Trans flag(though they have their own literal flag too), since they generally don’t label themselves Cis. Not all NBs consider themselves trans, but for the purposes of representation they get grouped together because it’s essentially the same fight.
Background checks, raise the age to 21, waiting period, and red flag laws are all in his speech. He wants what every reasonable person wants.
Gun control. He’s proposing gun control.
Stone age people??
We should be able to admit that we prefer the original without self-mockery though. The Winnie the Pooh stories as written are clever, sweet and also fucking hilarious. The drawings are beautiful. The Disney version is a perfectly functional but significantly diminished impression made to spoonfeed kids and sell merch.
The live action Christopher Robin film had a truly nightmarish heffalump
In fairness, including “he’s a friend from work” robbed the movie’s best joke of its impact in the theater. Maybe a learning moment for the studio?
RIGHT?!?! It's upset Tweets and an article on AV Club! Definitely an attack on free speech.
People who really have it out for trans people are often upset because the notion of transitioning implies that the gender binary is kind of bullshit, which they may then take to imply that part of their identity, which is built around certainty about their own masculinity or femininity, is under assault. It’s not,…
You’re so close to getting it! You’re right, sex and gender are not the same thing. Sex is what you are assigned at birth, gender is your true identity. Both trans women and cis women share a gender: woman; both trans men and cis men share a gender: man. Trans women are women and trans men are men. See? Not so hard.…
I don’t believe you. I think you were always a pretty conservative type of person who enjoys using issues like this to spit at your political enemies.
“Nonthreatening” transphobia is what legitimizes the legally backed kind. It’s spreading the same fear.
Opposing lazy bigotry isn’t offensive to anyone who actually opposes lazy bigotry.
He’s not being offended by everything, he’s being offended by bigotry.
People care because rampant transphobia hurts people.
Oh, honey.
