He should at least give the first person to guess correctly an iPad.

“He’s credited, either solo or with other writers, on ... the first Spider-Man movie...”
Guy really did not do his due diligence on this particular heist.
“And all for what, a pair of shoes? There’s more to life than a pair of shoes, you know.”
I can see some juice in this film if he goes on to sell the shoes to some Garland fanatic. You start with a grizzled cook who’s all business; there’s nothing in his life but stealing, hiding away money for his retirement, and staying clear of the cops. He gets duped into stealing the slippers (or equivalent; you also…
The old AV Club is dead. We should hold a way for it.
If only there’d been some kind of ‘Barbenheimer’ style boost to give them both more ticket sales. It could have been ‘Mean Keeper’.
Anyone seen the show ‘Corporate’? There’s an episode where one of the main characters wants to prove he’s still young and cool, so he agrees to go to a concert that he discovers doesn’t start until midnight. He spends the whole night trying to convince himself he does want to go, and then as he’s about to leave it…
I really hope those are two different schedules.
I’d be amused if I heard someone missed a concert because they arrived right on time but the band played two hours early.
Lotta really intense body shaming in this comment.
I really liked Martha’s return run during the 4th season. She was a companion who left on her own terms and then forged a new path where she could continue to help people.
Racist-ass Mellie Gibson.
Remember that nerdy guy Nine and Rose picked up in the Dalek episode, took on one adventure and then dumped because he was trying to make money off his knowledge of the future? That’s what I call a one and done. (Though you could always bring him back as a villain; have him stewing for years over being abandoned until…
“There’s fake explosions going off and someone’s going ‘explosion!’ and you act like there’s an explosion”.
I’m just glad these movies weren’t made at the height of the company’s “Ultimate” brand edginess. Imagine a Cap on the big screen yelling “Do you think this A stands for France?”
There’s a quality to Fisk in the shows where he seems awkward sometimes about how huge he is. He can use it to terrifying effect when he wants to, but there are scenes, especially with Vanessa, where he’s clearly so aware of how much space he takes up. I imagine this is something D’Onofrio has experienced in his real…
‘Young Frankenstein’ was endlessly quoted in my household growing up. Some words (like “Ovaltine”, for example) have been forever changed for me just by being in that movie.
People need to stop doing that. Barsanti is a terrible writer, not a terrible person.
That said, I’m not immediately against the idea.
