It’s like a guilty pleasure for me at this point. I look forward to her comments. It really feels like an alien with an agenda trying her damndest to sound human.

I really hope something sticks. Too many people getting away with this. Truth to power only works if they’re ultimately held accountable.
....and Andrew Tate I think we can assume.
Hey we now have the ability to say “Can you get out of the frame? I don’t like to take pictures of fat assed Christians with a moralistic superiority streak as a photo subject. It’s against my religion of Devo.”
Those flip attitudes that people had about Trump were all over. I’m in Canada, so none of this actually mattered in terms of votes (though I’m an American citizen by birth, so I mailed my vote in for Hillary in 2016), but I remember my boss saying “I think Trump would be good. He’d at least be entertaining.” I…
I largely agree. I do like that she’s acknowledging and thanking the surrogate. People seem to dehumanize surrogates, so acknowledging her surrogate as a person feels valuable to me.
I had to answer very similar questions when I was going for top secret security clearance for a government job. Am wondering if it was something similar?
It’s gotta be some kind of performance art thing, right? Her comments are fascinating.
I am waiting for the SC to ban legacy admissions because they are an obvious violation of merit-based admissions and a backdoor method to insure racial disparities into the future. I mean, as long as they are all about fairness and earned merit and all. I’ll start holding my breath now... /s
I don’t think creative people should be forced to create something they don’t believe in. Let’s say you are a website creator and an anti-abortion group hires you or tries to hire you to spread their message. Wouldn’t you want to be free to say NO?
I fervently hope that Thomas & Alito retire rather than die while still serving, and then live long enough to see many of their decisions get excoriated and overturned.
The “advisor.” You left out a piece. The “advisor” is Matt Gaetz.
So a story was made up to enforce a stance? From a holier than thou Christian frump who is loving the attention and willing to say anything to keep the focus on her?
5 bucks say Thomas comes back on this. Dude is notorious for holding grudges for decades about shit. His former pages told that Thomas was directly quoted as wanting to shoot down anything and everything Democratic after the Anita Hill hearings purely out of spite.
I went to law school in Florida. In one of the buildings, there are class photos of the graduating classes that go back as far as the late 1800s. About 150 yrs worth, now. The thing I noticed was that until the 1940s, there were ZERO women. Then one or two, every year or so from the late 1950s and well into the…
It’s amazing how bad the court has become since the majority flipped. I still remember screaming (not literally) at my friends a family how important 2016 was and that the court be fucked for a generation if Trump won.
Agreed—packing the Court just kicks the can down the field without addressing the systemic issues that made it possible for the GOP to capture the judiciary in the first place (and once captured, promulgate their substantive political agenda.)
This, so much so. I am so tired of it being all in or all out.
Robot? No.
Lol then you should have gotten an abortion. No one was stopping you
