The problem is that the bulk of the people who watch and get these shows renewed don’t read these kinds of articles. They just find something on their streaming services’ first page, go “Hey this looks neat” and watch it with zero info on the nightmare it was to make them. And if they do, most of them go “Oh,

$200 billion is enough to make 5-10 excellent mid-budget movies”

I’d sure fucking hope so!

I wouldn’t be too shocked if this article was prepped and planted to come out to garner negative press solely to get more viewers who want to see the trainwreck.

She ain’t blonde either!

maybe we wouldn’t be subjected to the 4,035th crappy Marvel movie next month.

It’s the same thing with video games. The latest Battle Call of Duty: Zombie Hamsters comes out and people say it’s derivative and bring nothing to the table.

I had to google Sam Levinson because I never got around to watching Euphoria and the image results show the face of a man who I 100% believe would be the type of guy to say something like “wouldn’t it be CRAZY/FUNNY/EDGY if we did something like... (insert any gross thing here)?”

Because our system assumes and doesn’t legislate a bunch of assumed norms. It assumes that courts will act as a check on executive and legislative branches; as well as taking facts into account.

Okay, as I’ve said elsewhere, I’m not into policing people’s reproductive choices, nor do I have any confidence in any of our ability to confidently declare that Holmes’s children will be better off without her, a declaration that frankly strikes me as fucked up on a bunch of levels. People have children for all sorts

Bet you’ll still watch it, and then wonder why it got a second season.

Cool. So this will be the last 600+ word article written about it, right? Right?!

“figured out twenty years ago that conservatives had lost the culture war. Abortion, gay rights, contraception—conservatives didn’t have a chance if public opinion prevailed. So they needed to stack the courts.”

The idea that courts could reject the expert conclusions of the FDA and what they deem safe, is insane to me.

She doesn’t think of other people in general. I doubt it makes a difference if she’s related to them.

Thanks for the explainer.  The article made it sound like the procedure is illegal no matter what in Arkansas, and I didn’t really want to google abortion laws in every state unless I had to.  Thanks!

Further proof that a President doesn’t leave office after four years. The effects of their term lasts for decades.

“When his sister got pregnant at 17, she went to live at an anti-abortion maternity home until she gave birth and put the baby up for adoption.”

This is a neo-con bugaboo.

If they do send her to jail is she just going to throw out the kids since they didn’t work?

Yeah, we want to know what Julia thinks about all this.
