I like the ins and outs of everyday life. How people ran their households and how the common person thought. Unfortunately there's not a lot of info to be found on that for earlier stuff.

yes this! My neighbours kids drive me crazy and she doesn't really parent but they play outside and run like nothin else. They're also okay kids. Kinda little snots but they're doing okay with what they've got and they're healthy!

I kind of think that's bad luck. I've witnessed two children get stuck and require some form of fireman/tradesman to remove them when their parents have been watching them. I think this is one of those shot storms where one unlucky thing happened to make it even worse. Chances are the kid would have gotten stuck…

urgh. I hate the Wolf Creek movies. If you want real Australia you should watch The Castle, Red Dog or Priscilla Queen of the Desert. They are really awesome and quintessential. Candy and Sample people are also great. My husband suggested Chopper.
