they are stunning! Do you sell them online because Ii would be super keen to buy one or two!
I cross stitch, knit (badly) and I started art journaling about 3 months ago and now I'm obsessed. I spent $300 this week on craft supplies!
ooooo I'll have to read that. I haven't travelled much yet but Hubby and I are planning to when our daughter is a bit more grown! Japan is a huge priority.
I love fantasy but have never read any Terry Pratchet. He's on my list though. I used to read graphic novels as a kid but I can't get into them anymore :(
Harry Potter is the best!!! I love it. I can't crochet but I love it! I cross stitch and do mixed media art.
you guys!!!! It's 9am in Australia and I have to start work in 7 minutes. You should all tell me stories and leave me cool pictures and gifs for me to see in my breaks.
*ahem* "to write their own language correctly"
Family did a joke like that too with a blacklight and stewie in a hotel room.
THIS. While Jezebel is a feminist website I think it's unfair to make this about women's oppression. It's okay to acknowledge that men can be victims without the snarky "if it were a woman..."
People like that piss me off. There are about 1000 reasons I can think of for buying a premade birthday cake. I really think it comes down to people not actually wanting to see poor people existing. It makes them feel guilty for a reason.
But... her car is paid for. That indicates to me that she made a good financial decision when her income was higher and is now making another sound decision in keeping it because it's paid for and a reliable family car
That is an amazing video.
Yes, the poor people are poor because they deserve it, bootstraps, yada yada yada.
You realise he does that because he doesn't have a fridge in which to store food, an oven or microwave in which to cook food and, most importantly, no electricity to do those things. What else should he be eating? He probably makes just enough to eat at starbucks everyday so he.. you know.. doesn't die.
Lindy would rather think it's about her, it makes her feel special.
Thank you so much! I find it a real struggle to find readable media from Australia. I mean, I've done google searches and such, but it's still difficult to find it all. I kept finding blogs and I'm not really into reading personal blogs because they tend to be fairly.. well.. boring :P
This is the closest thing I can find to an Australian feminist publication. Seriously.
Logical fallacies are accepted, NAY ENCOURAGED, in Australia. Along with "But, that's just, like, your opinion, man" as an acceptable rebuttal.
Sorry! I should have linked but I was typing it quickly because, you know, I have shit to do. Geez get off my back.
Anyways, Mamamia is a "feminist" website in Australia that I hate read and then get sucked into the comments and then I comment and then I feel shame and theeeeen.... I repeat the cycle the next day.
PINKHAM! Have you seen the Mamamia piece by Mia Freedman yet? APPARENTLY YOU ARE OVER-REACTING! STOP THE PRESSES. WHITE WOMAN THINKS USING APARTHEID IS OKAY IN THIS CONTEXT.
