I’ve got the first three novels to read, so I’m not as familiar with it; I think it just must be more fun to play the Belter characters. The Mars and Earth characters are universally stuffy, where the Belters have emotional range and pidgin.

Yeah, I think it’ll be interesting to see the level of commitment Feige has to charting a different course to the new era of the MCU. He has signaled that the ‘Phases’ is not the same as they’ve done, but I’m sure there’s Disney execs that don’t want to take a risk on what’s already worked in their eyes.
When you make obtuse comments that are not correct, that’s on you regardless of what you don’t want to consider.
No kidding. Bullying ruins childhoods, the best that any media could do to someone’s life is waste time.
I don’t know who Josh Horowitz is, but the fact he married someone with the surname ‘Powers’ and hasn’t gone by ‘Josh Powers’ irks me.
I definitely wish there was more to all the films, like the work that the Russos, Waititi, or Gunn has done, but I’m pretty happy with what we’ve got so far. I’m excited to see more of the upcoming properties!
You’re right, but I still wish for it to be different. I’m happy to get what we got to date, but the byproduct of making the MCU last this long has meant there’s installments that do a lot of legwork for structuring the franchise, with little focused on their own continuity- sometimes they just get outright retconned…
I wish they revised Falcon/Winter Soldier in the same way. I enjoyed it, but it really feels like an interstitial between the films. Beyond Sam having more character depth, becoming Captain Falcon, and Walker’s origin story into being US Agent. The FWS series relies on the history of the characters to get into it, and…
Yeah, I really hate what The Rolling Stones has done to rock and roll, it’s nothing like what Nickelback had in mind when they created the genre.
Cara Gee is one of the gems on the show. She’s great throughout, but I absolutely love all her scenes with David Strathairn (Klaes Ashford).
That’s not what ska is, dude...
lol, I thought you meant Boris Karloff was somehow still alive- which is befitting Palpatine.
That image gives the feeling that Mom and Dad have sat me down to tell me about their separation, except that my mom and dad are Bill & Melinda Gates, and I’ve disowned them as my parents because their shit people.
I don’t think you have much to worry about- were that the case, AV Club’s ouevre dictates that there would be a myriad of articles about JGL’s actions, and every subsequent article would reference back, regardless of their relation to the topic.
I think it’s what Schimkowitz considers “artistic flair”.
Same boat as you initially, but the link to the Don Jon review goes to a typically whingey Dowd review (C+). I’m thinking JGL love is verboten, per Schimkowitz.
Cough Whitlam is engaging in the age-old “I must tell all the people their thing is beneath me, then they shall see how deep my wisdom is!” Like, dude- a lot of us are aware of the superficiality nerdy family shit like the MCU, that’s not an incredibly deep thought- we do it anyways. There’s also a lot of people that…
If a charge like that exists, it should exclusively exist for extra weight to the crime committed. It should reflect that the accused should carry the weight of the history of the crime- you choose to enslave a black man in modern times, your fucking ass is doomed.
Next you’re gonna tell me that there were no Assassin or Templar pirates.
I don’t watch tons of animated works, but with the names involved, and it’s neat style of animation, I’ll check it out. I do love Gravity Falls!
