I always wonder why people think strangers care when they announce to the world that they aren’t taking part in something any more- we don’t know you, our lives don’t change without you around, so why do we care?

I think it’s a cool experiment to try, and I hope it pays off. I look forward to seeing what the animation style will be.
I’m just all about the music- I want to know how did that, because that’s gonna be going on to one of my work playlists.
I grew up with sidescrolling brawlers being the my favourite arcade games, so this appealed to me for that. Watching this feels like like standing around a cabinet, seeing how far your friends are going to get.
I hope he’s a little more hotter, specifically a lot less spousal abuse.
You are really reading into her choices without much to go on, and your whole “women need to be accountable to their decision” is some truly trash take, in light of the fact that Eilish was a teenager that was sexualized regardless of what she wanted.
Mike is on one today- I can’t imagine how hard their life is that a person modeling calls for her career to be kaiboshed.
For sure- people with advantages in life (read: cis and/or white and/or men) love to be critical of any person’s expression if it doesn’t fit the social mold society (again, read: cis and/or white and/or men). Any type of putting their neck out is rewarded with a critical review, especially if there’s perceived…
Same camp as you, and I’m x10 all the more excited for Vera Farmiga and Bill Pullman in there too.
Eh, most of the response to Birds of Prey massively disagrees with you. McGregor was fantastic in it, and was one of the selling points for the film.
A little bit of procrastinating at work, and I had to hide my tears. The theatre-going experience is one of the things I miss the most, and I absolutely can’t wait to get back there. If Alberta gets their shit in gear over the next couple months, I think it maaaay happen in fall.
You’re saying the solution would be to CG Hepburn into the next trilogy, right?
TBH I haven’t watched Stallone’s Judge Dredd, and the fact that Rob Schneider is in it bodes ill.
Breen is a master at all crafts that make a film- cinematography, writing, editing, special effects, directing, the list goes on!
Danzig’s been a halfwit edgelord forever, it’s funny how he’s circled from “Last Caress gets all the sensitive squares rankled, I’m a genius!” to “Kids these days are too sensitive to appreciate Last Caress, nobody appreciates my genius, boo hoo.”
Thanks, I realize just how little I know on all this sort of stuff so I want to make sure I make sense of these matters in a more empathetic way towards the victim. It seems natural for more callous people (like law enforcement and the judicial system) to view cases like this outside of the parameters THEY SHOULD…
It’s a popular joke that the following Kevin Smith tweet is the worst thing ever tweeted- even Kevin Smith agrees:
She’s not really so much a hooker as she’s an abuse victim, no? I don’t think it should be considered prostitution if it’s a minor.
I feel like the headline doesn’t do this guy justice- he looks to be a serial predator. He just checks off every box of monstrous abuse a guy could do to colleagues with just an ounce of power. The fact that his abuse stretches across so many productions, there ought to be answers for how this behaviour could be…
I’d love to see that here, but the only theatres that have a liquor license are a couple art house venues, and the aforementioned Cineplex Odeon- and Cineplex’s beer & food is as over-priced and under-quality as any service they offer :(
