Here in Alberta, we’ve only recently got Landmark Cinemas, a better competition to the national chain of theatres, Cineplex Odeon. Landmark is nice for the point you brought up- they have large sized recliners and assigned seats, so it’s comparatively a magical experience, not rubbing elbows with a guffawing dweeb

Are we talking the Kurt Russell joint, or the SG-1? Both are great.

Man I love dril, and I love Adult Swim content, but their management has been shitting their beds for years. I fully expect that the better this turns out, the more likely AS will cancel it too early.

I’ve thought that the show seemed like it would be utter shit, and that Kanye West clip absolutely seems the case. I might’ve watched it in a different time, just out of boredom, but there’s just so much available to watch that Entourage doesn’t seem worth a minute.

I had little interest in watching much of this, but if there’s James Adomian I’ll give it a go.

Y'know, that's true, and I never thought about that until now. Such a bizarre production.

I didn’t tell anybody to do shit, buddy. There’s no need to get your hackles raised over defending Congo.

I’ve never heard of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, but it sounds like just about the opposite vibe of Life is Torture Porn.

Thanks! I’m one of those people, shit like Hudson Hawk or a Neil Breen film are good times- Congo is an unenjoyable abomination. If you enjoy it, great- doesn’t change how I’ll be feeling about it.

The cast is the only redeeming thing about this film- it’s such a godawful turd. How someone who professionally reviews films would argue for people to watch it is confounding.

Indubitably! I think it comes with the territory of idolizing people that are generally despicable- being delusional and thin-skinned to rationalize why billionaire god-kings can let us plebs down.

That would be really good! I liked Into the Storm for its pretty broad coverage for those that don’t live as online as I do, and collecting such a broad amount of kooks, cretins, dipshits, and Fredrick Brennan in the same place, but ultimately it doesn’t reveal much that I didn’t get from Behind the Bastards, or Reply

The people who genuinely believe a doll can be haunted are kissing cousins to people who genuinely enter relationships with body pillows.

And she’s the best reference only for the fact that people like Jack Ma or other celebrities have been abducted and “re-EDUCATED”

Hopefully the extent of the Chinese equivalence to the “blackpilling” is making a singer’s life moderately tedious, compared to the American version of trying to incite a race war that brings upon a second civil war.

Yeah, I won’t pretend I’ll be able to unwrap the world of the Covid conspiracist in any comprehensive fashion; only a lick of it is based in reality, and the rest of it is thoroughly stupid.

I think he’s really just a private person that really loves his craft; it seems like veteran actors like him, or Walken, or Dafoe are really involved with what they create, and just really don’t care what sort of preconception the public builds from their onscreen characters, or the types of roles they constantly are

The idolatry of billionaires nowadays is cockeyed as ever- I came across some guy recently that was angry that somebody said Elon Musk is evil for his spreading of Covid conspiracies- that he’s never done that, that Elon just promotes “vaccine skepticism”. After I shared a comprehensive list of Elon’s conspiracy

*I don’t know how the dismissing function works and if you can see this comment when I first posted it, but here it is again anywho:

Thanks, bud. I gave TRT-X the benefit of the doubt that they weren’t looking to start a vindictive echo chamber, but I’ll ad that to the list of things I’ve been wrong about! I’d love if they would feel comfortable to prove me wrong, if they were actually up for talking and people responding.
