The F-150 Lightning weighs 1000 lb less than the Excursion, the same as a Hummer H2, and only 700 lb more than the Escalade, nobody whined about the “damage to the roads” when they were popular...

Fun fact. The exact same mining that happens for EVs happens for all vehicles. The small portion of the mining that is battery specific is also the same mining that is done for your cell phone, and laptop.

Seriously dumb. Noise is hard to remove. Something “fixed” like a recording is super simple to remove. Overlay recording on video, invert waveform, poof, Disney is removed (minus any distortion because it’s being played over a speaker).

For “regular humans”, vehicles are a depreciating liability. Does it require insurance? Liability. Does it require maintenance? Liability. Does it lose value over time? Liability. Will you potentially lose your job if it fails? Liability. Do you depend in it? Liability.
