I've been to every PAX East so far, and I could count the number of single women at every show combined on one hand. I totally get it, a girl with no chaperone at a gaming con is going to get a lot of (possibly) unwanted attention. But I keep going every year, wondering each time, is this finally the year I meet her?

The cool thing about the ships' design is that they're made for space and not a fluid atmosphere. It's refreshing.

EVE, tied with Warhammer 40K, always had the most wondrous of ship designs. Looking at those massive vessels and all the crap that could be loaded into them, not to mention the building materials that were probably necessary for their construction. Makes your mouth water.

You'd think so, but a lot of people in PAX lines are in groups huddled together, mostly with noses in their smartphones or 3DSes. I always wanted to meet a girl at PAX... I mean, right off the bat you'd think you'd have a lot in common. I just don't know how to break the ice with people in large crowds. That, and I'm in my 30s now, and most of the single girls at PAX are younger.

Oh! One very cool thing for UK/AU/NZ/JAP readers: you can choose which side of the road traffic drives on. A small touch, but an awesome one.

I absolutely adore this costume design. I love how it's decidedly feminine and yet doesn't rely on the easy "show off all the skin" tactic that most female superhero costume designers use (hell, it shows literally zero skin when she has her mask on). Also, I'm a sucker for hoods.

Unity 5 free is fully featured and allows everything the pro license does (minus replacing the unity logo). the pro licensing now gets you extra services that really only become useful for teams and larger companies IMO.

There are three types of jobs in the game. Adventuring jobs, that's Dragoon through Black Mage there, crafting jobs which involve making things, and gathering jobs which duh. A player character can be all of them, swapping between them by switching the tool they are holding.

More evidence that there should really just be a Lego Starships line that covers space ships from various media, such as Homeworld, Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Ratchet & Clank, Red Dwarf, Mass Effect, Alien, and more.
