It mentions new ways to defeat bosses. Might be worth picking this up just for that. However the version I played at PAX East felt laggy as hell. With any luck that was only because it was a early build.

Me sad as well.
Wow...I did not even realize this was a thing. When was it announced?
If only it was MegaMan-X.
The first blush math is $5/month * 12 months = $60. However it appears you get a discount if you buy one year at a time (official site says $50 for one year).
Thanks for the tip on that deal.
I hope there will be cross platform capability. Final Fantasy 11 did this well and Final Fantasy 14 is doing this later this year.
I thought 720p/1080p was the same no mater where you live.
You answered your own question. SONY will not force an online check but PUBLISHERS may. Therefore, if say Assassin's Creed 4 requires a always on connection it will not be Sony's fault but Ubisoft's.
Ya, I was impressed with Destiny. It is a shame that game is console only because it would ROCK on PC.
This is the biggest problem I have with not buying a X1. I wont be able to see the continuing saga of Master Chief. But really, the only two things that looked interesting from MS was Halo 5 and Project Spark. Too bad two games is not enough to make me want to spend $500.
"Better lineup" is the most subjective statement someone can make. Do not confuse opinions with facts.
I can still play F-Zero on my SNES 23 years after release. I still do play that a bit every few years.
Sony to Microsoft: "Just let it happen, it'll be over soon"
Paid multiplayer is not really a minus. The PS3 had a plus compared to 360 with it being free. Now that both consoles require it for multiplayer it is a neutral.
This is the same reason I only play Final Fantasy games on PlayStation.
Yep.
If it was not for Titanfall coming to PC then I would have two reasons to get a Xbox One.
That was a really good write up. I wish Kotaku would feature it. It makes me want to play the game again. Is there any chance the PC version has been fixed?
While I have no experience in this field, I feel this is excellent advice.
