Ya, at this point we are all lazy/weak because we realize that we are fucked anyways and will never be able to fix it. So, we are just trying to enjoy what time we have remaining on the "gravy train".

True, the developer may not get any money from the sale. However, the more a game sells the more likely the developer will be contracted again to make a new game or sequel.
