TWELVE FUCKING DAYS!
TWELVE FUCKING DAYS!
This is an unutterably beautiful dog. Like, truly stunning. Well done for your patience and gentleness with this absolute dreamboat.
All of those ideas for halloween are excellent but dressing up as one’s own dog is the most touching and hilarious tribute, and I wholeheartedly encourage this level of fan-behaviour.
Oh my goodness, I am riding the baked potato train with you! I’ve been making quick-pickled red onions which are a delightful addition to a baked potato (or 3) with butter, cheese, an enormous salad etc. Potatoes are heroes and I will not hear a bad word said against them.
Those cookies look delicious, and the fashion ads remind me of my grandmother who HATED that fashion but saved her mother’s Vogues (from the 20s and 30s) for me because she thought I’d be into them.
Came here to say this. A skinny little lad vs. Isaac and Momoa? Two clear winners here, and Timmee ain't one of them.
Ive never lived alone until now and so far it’s an absolute dream. I’m lucky to have plenty of space, so could probably share quite happily, but even when people I love come over I find myself quietly looking forward to being by myself once they’ve left!
Thanks. I needed them to be in their final spot but it’s not very easy to get them out and it’s pretty precarious! I'm looking forward to having the proper shelves up, it's probably the thing I'm most excited about. Nesting means books <3
Oh I feel you. After leaving an abusive marriage (for my childhood bedroom at my parents’) an awful lot of my things had to go into storage, including a lot of books. A couple of years later I’m finally out and in a place of my own and I have my books back, it’s glorious! The hardware store only had half of what I…
It’s been 8 days since I got the keys, 2 since I got all my furniture and stuff, one since I had 2 lovely friends round for supper. I have done so much decorating and DIY, I have unblocked the toilet, I have moved things around and vacuumed and hung pictures and put up curtains. There is still so much to do!
I am in…
I got the keys yesterday, I’ve camped in the flat and cleaned and decorated and changed the loo seat and hung curtains. My sister helped the first night and a lovely friend and her lovely husband have come to stay for the weekend to help decorate.
This is exactly it. Our students are especially vulnerable, many are in care and/or living with adults who suffer from mental ill health, abuse or substance dependence. During lockdown we steadily opened to more and more students as it became clear that the risk of getting covid at school was less great than the risk…
What I wouldn’t give for a machine to zap me out there with you. The cottage, the drive, the time, the temperature, the solitude all sound perfect. And the stars?!
Sad though I am that your cats will not be enjoying room service delivered, shrimp-based 1970s throwback delicacies, I must say your plan is better than the hotel option.
Thisbisbso exciting! Well done you. I wish you all the peace, smoothness and speed you need as you start walking in a whole new scene.
Those placemats are so fancy and so psychedelic at the same time, like the world's classiest mushroom trip. 5 stars my friend!
I'm so glad you have a garden, and yes to "awestruck and grounded." It's pure magic isn't it?
It’s so good to hear your staff are being sensible and compassionate. I think some places are better than others for sure. Going back to studying is no joke, even without the whole "global plague" thing; you're a champ!
