I got half way through Thursday and asked myself why I was even bothering with no-stretch jeans and a hair elastic as a button hole extension. Sweatpants and caftans for life!

Oh yes, I was a nanny when it was first broadcast on the BBC and I can tell you the nanny mafia of west London were all tuned in!

Thank you for your support in this Cheers. I’m currently working on the world's easiest and most delicious ice cream, mint and lemon!

When we were in our teens and were struggling we still felt comfortable to go into our parents’ bedroom and wake them up if we wanted. Many nights our mum would wake up, ask what was wrong and then boot Mr. Dad out into whichever bed had been vacated and the stressed out teen would hop in with her. The woman is by no

A friend of mine married a man and moved half way across the world to live with him. He was a bully and an abuser, and his entire extended family were afraid of him, apart from one aunt (“If I survived the camps I’m not going to be scared of that mean little boy” vibes.)

Those are so beautiful! I’ve been embroidering a lot, I’ve almost finished an obscene but beautiful floral design as a gift for a friend. If the craft thread is here next weekend I will post a finished photo.

I work in a school for kids with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. They struggle to settle after a planned one week holiday, let alone a surprise six-month break. We are hyper aware of the trauma this is inflicting, and are making huge plans to try and help them process, heal and readjust when we’re

Here, safe, sane-ish, half a stone heavier :)

Hair: Spec-fucking-tacular

Beautiful! I developed a recipe for pear and cardamom loaf with maple glaze years ago and have been meaning to dig it out and repeat. I also spent yesterday daydreaming about eating an entire trifle, so I may have to get going on that. Being a gluten goblin I’ll have to make the sponge and custard from scratch but I

I’m so honoured that you’re pleased! I will do my best to have some more good news for you next week, I’ve suggested a video call next time so fingers crossed...

I’ve seen these, they’re absolutely dreamy too (although I will say there’s something about the Irishman’s voice being directed just at me which makes it extra appealing!)

Routine is queen right now isn’t it? I hope you guys settle right back into the new normal.

This is a nice idea, like words with friends or something? I’ve not done it before but I might investigate...any you would reccommend?

Thanks, yes who knows what the world will look like in half a year, but I’m enjoying getting to know someone who seems cool and nice!

Thanks Cheers, I didn’t realise during the couple of hours we were chatting but it struck me later that conversation had just flowed. You’re right, it feels like a pretty big deal!

Hi gang,
How is everyone?

I’m feeling relieved that our Easter break is over and that I’ll be back to my new wfh routine on Monday, 2 weeks off when you’re not allowed to go anywhere feels like a waste and I’m succumbing to the old cabin fever.

I don’t really have any news except that I had...a date? I mean, not

What the fuck is SwanySwanson on about then eh? I’m so sorry someone is being so needlessly rude and aggressive to you Cheers. I’m making tarte tatin tomorrow, I'd save you a slice if I could

I think the lavender is a brilliant idea. I’m swinging between wanting to chop all mine off (bad idea) or dye it some wild colour (I can’t afford that much dye, I have too much hair.)

I made a comprehensive meal plan for the week and a very organised shopping list for my dad and brother to take to the supermarket. We've had chilli and banoffee pie and homemade soups and salads. Can we get a recipe for that pork please?
