Hey all...so things have actually happened this week.

In “brace yourself” news the divorce has taken a step forward. The court has approved my petition and now is the time to try and work out the best way of reaching a financial settlement but I have zero idea how to go about trying to convince my so-called-husband

The best thing about dresses imho is the one-hit-outfit function. No planning or coordination is required, you just shove your body in it and crack on with Wednesday. The less time I spend thinking about my clothes the better.

Like when minors are described as "prostitutes" rather than children who have been trafficked and raped.

So giving each kid to shocked, unprepared, probably fairly traumatised parents AND separating gestational twins at birth. Lord those babies are going to have some attachment anxiety to work through. This is so horrendous for everyone involved.

Like a “theme of the week” almost?

I like that idea, although I wonder whether people would be more likely to answer directly on the same SNS. It might be worth stating it’s for practical stuff: how to do cable stitch, how to hang a shelf, how to start a podcast, do your taxes, make sure your houseplants don’t die etc...

Thank you. I found the trick is to really reflect on the walk to the cliff, think hard about how livid you will be with yourself if you chicken out. Then once you get there get as naked as possible as quick as possible and just fucking do it. Hanging around would have been the end of my cliff-jumping ambitions.

Perhaps, in addition to make up, shelter cat, achievements and the rest, there should be a learning thread? Everyone who has knowledge to share or seek can gather for an information exchange?

Well done MrsBatman and well donr MrsBatmum. Boundaries are the best.

Welcome to the party. I'd vote for us!

This sounds miserable, poor you. How about an enormous, chic parasol?

I jumped off a massive cliff into the sea and it was exhilarating and terrifying and i want to do it again forever.

You are brave and strong and it’s apalling that this man has given you reason to be.

The last paragraph is everything.

Oh yes, I feel the same way about the coast. Hurling myself into it from high cliffs on a sunny day* is no more or less glorious that watching through a window as the storms roll in.

Thank you Maya, yeah I am still fairly gutted about it but hey ho, after 3 days of bliss I might just move to Cornwall instead!

Nailed it. Sometimes we just need a witness.

This is amazing, a comprehensive photography lesson on SNS...I did not expect!

Thank you, lordy I hope so too.

Very impressive, I think if I tried this my camera would make the visual equivalent of a fart noise then switch itself off!
