We had to give the beater bar in the vacuum cleaner a “haircut” this weekend. My guy loves my long hair, trims it for me, and gives me awesome braids that I get compliments on. He offered to take care of the vacuum cleaner bar, but I told him it was my hair, I’ll clean it out. He tells me that finding my long hairs

My guess is that there were too many people who said “I don’t want the side/don’t charge me for the side/I don’t want those extra carbs!” And it was just easier to price everything individually. Those people are why we can’t have nice things (like fries and chips)!!

Now playing

Yeah, you want to hit me for $20 for five fucking ravioli and not at least plop a pile of sauteed spinach or five asparagus spears on the side? You want to charge me $8 for those same damned asparagus spears? THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH. Damn right.

If she has openly stated she will not issue licenses to same sex couples which is HER JOB, why hasn’t she been removed from her position? This actually seems like a pretty black/white issue, bitch won’t do her job fire her ass.

We need more eagles.

Places where it would be okay to have unpaid internships : cash-strapped charitable / international aid / public policy organizations.

OMG I want to sell a tea that makes your boobs grow called TITTEA

“It is absolutely not celebrating the crime of Jack the Ripper but looking at why and how the women got in that situation in the first place.”

I think one of the reasons this is important is because trans women are disenfranchised by a lot of places and so “just modeling agencies” wouldn’t be giving the trans models the same treatment, even subconsciously. And an agency focused on trans women could make sure that everything was tailored to meet the specific

there’s the first women of color modeling agency (in 2015 now) so there needs to be an agency for trans people bc they’re not getting hired by the big shots as much as their woc counterparts either.

Just remember, please: they weren’t born men; they were born babies. Like everyone. Also, the majority of drag queens don’t identify as women or even as trans.

I’m kind of inclined to agree, if only because this seems like segregation. Now no one will have to ‘worry’ about ending up with a transgender model, because they just won’t go to that one agency that has only them. And the only people who will go to that agency are the ones who are actively looking for transgender

I mean, in an idealized world maybe, but right now that’s like saying “Do we really need the NAACP? Can’t we just have a national organization for the advancement of all people?”

I hear you, and challenge you to look at it a different way... When somebody is short, you give them a stepstool. Because they’re inherently disadvantaged by the high cabinets in the kitchen.

I dunno, to make it easier for people hiring to support the trans community? Historically, minorities often create space for themselves by acting as a group, this isn’t abnormal.

First guess, this does a lot more to keep trans models safe and has a working knowledge of how to help trans models navigate in the industry. Until all model agencies reach that level of education, awareness, and compassion on trans issues that this agency likely has then I see this agency as being beneficial. That’s

First I would assume regular modeling agencies aren’t all that accepting of trans models. Second I would also assume that trans models might need a bit more of a unique touch, so it’s reasonable to have an agency that is prepared to deal with any issues that may arise.

Unfortunately we still live in a time where a trans model may not be able to find work solely due to their gender identity. We can look forward to the day when all modeling agencies can be relied upon to bring in talent regardless of their gender, but until then something like this is better than nothing at all.

I also get a little bit of a feeling of... “these aren’t women models, they’re trans women models.” I’m willing to be shown I’m wrong, however.
