I personally hate all the screens in modern cars. Couple the modern screen gauges with dim daytime running lights and you have the issue of people not turning on their headlights at night.

I mostly just do “BIG TOE”
K car rear windows roll down halfway just fine. G body GM cars don’t roll down at all.
These are similar habits I’ve picked up over the years. Everything I own is from 87-04 with my newest purchase being a 00 Suburban. I have nothing really to add to the conversation except this:
The company won’t ever own a vehicle, that’s against their MO. They’ll just phase out serving the area, or it’ll be only people who have Uber/Lyft as a second job doing it.
If you’re driving empty you’re wasting money. Most people sit and wait if they don’t pick anything up right away.
Unfortunately I see that as only pushing an easily accessible job away from people who are lower income, or families that are sharing one vehicle. Basically making the entry point a higher cost point.
The newer Dart SRT4 model and the supercharged Grand Caravan from the 00’s. My heart is broken.
Im a bit younger than that, being born in 86. Sure it could be worth it, but it only makes me upset because it’s now unobtanium.
When I was a kid this was THE Porsche to me. When prices started going buck wild a few years ago I just said “well that’s cool, I’ll simply never own one”. But maybe this is a sign the tides are changing for me.
I’m in Hanover PA, but sometimes go to Keansburg to visit my mom. Hit me up on any social media at INVUJerry and we’ll see if I can coordinate something. It’ll probably be spring time since the heater is busted and I don’t drive it once it snows.
It’s this one. I paid $3k for it.
I’ve had 15 neons of varying types. They all served me well.
It’s actually this car. I bought it in 2015 for $3000.
These are the second easiest cars to work on next to any K car based cars. If I got the car for $2k, bought a used motor from the junkyard for $300, and put a day into it, I’d have a car worth about $4500-5000 and my wife would enjoy driving it for sure.
Absolutely.
Wood paneled wagon
A little high but if the dog legs aren’t rusted out and the rockets are still in good shape it would be a good deal at $2k. Pull a motor from a wrecked PTGT, slap it in there and enjoy your 13 second daily driver.
The fact that so many people hate this, make me love it more.
A 3.6 Pentastar powered Eagle Premier (with a 6 speed manual) would be pretty god damn rad. Or possibly a 2.4 SRT powered Fiat 500 would be a crazy combo.
