Depends on which part of Tacoma park these days. The Montgomery County side isn’t bad at all.

If I’m doing a swap it’s usually going to be irreversible and anything I can’t sell gets thrown in the dumpster. Just like the original 8 valve motor and transmission did when the SRT4 drivetrain got plopped in my wagon. I don’t have unlimited storage space.

I love my fun 80’s and 90’s dodge shit boxes but I know in 10 years I’m going to have to start eying up potential EV swaps. And something better than the forklift units a bunch of DIY guys used.

So many people are making fun of this now a days.

Because you’re still aging. Sure a week or two you might not notice. But if you get stuck for 6 months somewhere a lot can change.

When memes come to life.

This is regular old work attire for me. Thanks!

And not one of you suggested an AWD BMW 5 series wagon?

Although I blow through 25gb of data or so a month streaming music and podcasts, I still listen to WTOP and NPR a little bit on my commute home since I don’t have access to news and traffic while I’m at work, and I still don’t trust apps for live traffic updates enough. The last day I did was when there was a huge

Minivans are the ultimate road trip vehicles. I drove from TX to PA in my 5 speed van and slept in it while doing the trip. It was fantastic. And during the fall so temps were great.

I want to get the cheapest Ferrari I can find and do a bunch of hillbilly shit with it.

Dirt every day did an ice racing episode with one. They’re not huge, about the same as a similar year s10 which isn’t large at all.

Minivans are the best. I just had a friend looking for a car her and her husband can road trip in and possibly sleep in while they travel. She bought a Jeep Renegade instead of a Pacifica I was steering her towards. It has “rough styling” that she liked.

I find regular cruise control annoying as it is because it’s never doing what I want it to do. I couldn’t imagine trying to use adaptive cruise or even an autopilot feature.

I can believe it. That’s why there are so many successful EV conversions with people using fork lift motors.

They remind me of crown Vic wheels from the early 90’s.

I kind of feel like anything modern and sensible you don’t feel would have enough soul for you.

It would be one thing if you could take your private vehicle through there, and you’d have your own car on the other side. But I’d rather just make the drive. If you leave early enough you can drive from Baltimore to DC in like 35 minutes.

I mean I enjoy Dodges because my parents had Dodges as a kid. But my newest one is 15 years old this year.

I enjoyed my “idiotic SUV” ‘99 Suburban. It carried my whole family, safely, through snow. And it was able to tow my dodge neons or my SRT4 swapped LeBaron to the track or wherever it needed to go safely. It even got 17MPG when I hauled my family to New Jersey. Sure, a standard cab truck, and a minivan could have done
