Trump and the right have run a campaign of “But Hillary did/said/wants/....” and that won them an election.

This line of thought is a great way for Mav Carter and LeBron to deflect from the fact that everything that Phil Jackson said about LeBron and his friends/family was 100% true and one of the main reasons why he’s not in Miami anymore.

He’s banished all of his enemies. He owns every level of the checks and balances system.

I think you’re underestimating the ability of an authoritarian regime to deflect blame for its failures onto vulnerable people, and underestimating the capacity of the large chunk of Trump’s base that ARE Deplorables (resentful, frightened people with an internalized notion of white supremacy) to buy into flimsy…

one thing I don’t think you are getting about 95% of those that voted for Trump- they don’t want him to do the shit he said. Most know the wall is a dumb idea, that Hillary should not be imprisoned, etc. etc.

Hillary was a shitty candidate who tanked herself. I voted for her twice. She was the best person for the job, but it doesn’t change the fact that she was the worst person the Dems could have run out there.

Thank God this change happened. I’m more than elated Trump got elected, by white, brown, and black men and women. Hopefully we can return to a civil society where rule of law and self sufficiency are the order of the day.
