As a Los Angeles-based profligate spender who sees a crapload of movies, I have never considered spending that much on an evening at that fancy schmancy dinner & drinks theater (even though a 3-D or IMAX show here can easily set you back $18-19. It just seems too vast of a barrier to cross.)
