The comment was meant for more of a joke on how many people are now claiming to be sensitive to gluten. As stated in another response, I do have a GF friend who does have a serious gluten allergy who I am more than happy to drink wine with.

my comment was really just a joke on how many of my friends have decided they are sensitive to gluten without seeing any kind of specialist. It's kind of become the new issue to have. I actually do have a close friend who has a legit gluten allergy and her and I share a box of wine when we hangout.
