Looked at photos, then zoomed over to tickle NO DICE button. Grossly overpriced for what it is. Do. Not. Want! And I like Beemers.

Not since the 86/BRZ came out, no.
If they are going to cater to unions, at least make it 50/50 between unions and US made. Giving only $500 to US made and $4500 to union made is complete BS.
You must be new here.
At least now we know which side of the “Rich people bad” vs “EVs good” dilemma the staff comes down on.
“After the automobile wars of the 2020s, now all vehicles are Trucks”
Shouldn’t one of the electrical unions organize these battery factories and EV vehicles ??
It’s almost like the UAW should go all out in trying to organize them.
1st gear
Jalopnik and every outlet reporting news: The UAW is a corrupt mess
Jalopnik: But the UAW should organize every automotive factory
Alternative idea: don’t buy an RV. They’re just the absolute worst.
My wife has a Prius for road trips with our dogs and I have a Miata (ND) as my DD/grocery getter. For two people, it’s completely fine as a DD or a dog-free trip. The trunk can fit a full cart of groceries. The only thing I routinely buy that doesn’t fit in the trunk is the 25x20 air filter my HVAC uses.
Buy a used one that someone else owned for a few years and already fixed the problems.
It’s always the answer™.
Yeah I was going to write a comment how its not worth the dangers of riding on the road but these folks were training ironman so how else would they do it.
Pretty sad day when the most valuable car company on the planet can't get away with fraud.
I had an NC that I adored and wish I still had, but the ND is a major increase in quality and fuel economy. However, I’m not a large person and being the passenger in an ND is torture. The driver’s seat is the place to be.
No, NDs suck (depreciate pls)
They are but the NDs are amazing. The last few years running they’re putting down fast time of the day at autocrosses regularly. Yes, modified, but so are the vettes, Porsches, etc they’re beating out. They are incredibly capable cars. 100+ more hp than my NB, and also lighter.
Just drive something bigger for a bit, then the truck will seem positively go-kartish. There’s a CDL driver shortage, shouldn’t be too hard to pull off.
It’s honestly the same in reverse with most sports cars, at least when you get past a certain age. I’m on my second 911, having sold the first when I just found it too uncomfortable and impractical for 90% of my driving. Somehow I’m surprised that the older, smaller and harsher riding 911 I now have is even less…
