IMO, the rural life on acres is pretty sweet, and being within walking distance of your needs is pretty sweet, it’s the in-between suburbs of 8000sqft lots and needing to take a car to go anywhere further than the mailbox that makes no sense in retrospect.

We have one of each at home (and a fugly E60). The E34 is also a beautiful car and I sometimes wonder if it’s better than the E39, but it lacks a bit of presence and timelessness when put side-to-side. People don’t notice a clean E34 as much as a clean E39 from what I’ve seen.

Probably the most beautiful sedan ever made. And I say probably and not definitely because the E38 is right up there.
