I have one. That stupid Ford chime, plus the track record of botched launches, and quality control issues. I don’t know if I could come up with 100,000 reservations, but those are a few of mine.

I’m another Mister-Dos Spyder driver and add my +1. It’s a great slow-car to drive fast, especially with a good set of tires.
ND - You know how many Changlis I can buy for that money?
My problem is that it’s still a 350Z, the 370Z was never crash tested in America because it’s just a 350Z. So this brand new car is still probably caring over the same crash structure from 2002 which is a 4 star frontal impact.
Again, we don’t know a lot yet, and if the Supra was instead actually sold as a hardtop BMW Z4(or even a Lexus), we’d likely not be having this conversation as it’s being sold as a “premium” car under a regular brand.
“unless I’m mistaken, has recently outsold the Mustang for the first time in the last quarter.”
That you’re both assuming you have to vastly overpay for the Supra, but you’ll be able to get the newly introduced Z lightly optioned at msrp is just amazing.
“I can’t find a Supra for less than $60,000.”
“We can draw some inferences from the 2020 370Z since even though the Z is all-new, it still rides on the ancient FM platform which has been in use since 2001.”
A person can absolutely eat and drink while driving on a road trip and be completely safe.
“It’s not squirrely, which is something I can’t say about the four-cylinder Supra, sadly. At least, with me (and to be clear: I’m not an experienced track driver) at the wheel, the 2.0 inline-four Supra loves to swing its back end around whether you want it to or not. I’d gladly take the 86 over it, and save myself a…
Toyota thinks long-term, not just to the next quarter. Detroit should try that some time.

What is it up with you guys and trying to force the narrative that these new Hyundais are so good looking? I mean, some are, but I’ve literally never seen so many articles about a brand and how good looking all of their new vehicles are. Are they paying you guys?
The Z looks basically like a 350Z? I mean, silhouette wise, it does, but every car line does that? It’s the biggest refinement that also harks back to the original 240z styling in over 40 years. I'm pretty excited about it.
I’d like to have this question answered as well. Which is more fun for a second car, this, or nd2?
ND2 is 0.4s faster to 60, and would not be shocked at all if it handles much better being lighter.
