The answer is always Miata. The Miata NC -> ND restored the Miata nameplate to its roots.

Mercedes Benz 600 is clearly the correct answer here. Power everything (doors, trunk, windows, seats, sunroof) before cars had power everything using hydraulics throughout the entire car. It even had hydraulically controlled air ride suspension.

I find them so cumbersome to drive. Even the nicest ones aren’t nice compared to the world of CUVs / sedans. They’re a pain in the ass in an urban setting and they’re hard to get in and out of.

Neutral: Trucks. I didn’t understand why anyone would want to drive a truck until I drove a truck. Now I own a truck. I have other cars too, but having a truck is nice.

I’d be looking to replace my wife’s car about now if it wasn’t for this wild market. We aren’t in any rush and there isn’t an immediate need, so we’ll probably wait a year or two for things to cool off. That’ll also help by reducing the overlap of two car payments and might give us more options for used cars.

Quality content, Torch. I had no idea this was a thing and it’s mind boggling that there isn’t already some regulation in place requiring all cars be able to roll.

You’re missing the point. I’m saying that doesn’t matter. It’s a good car. BMW builds good cars. If someone recommended the M2 it wouldn’t get the same “Ew, BMW” response that every Supra post gets, because the M2 is a good car.

That’s okay. Not everyone can have good taste.

They are certainly one of the most “looks better in person than photo” cars I have seen in quite a while.

It’s remarkable that some people care that much about what badge is on a car. It’s a solid car for a decent price built in collaboration by two great companies.

Considering the Z4 has been so meh that BMW was going to kill it I’d feel pretty confident that my money would go elsewhere without having driven it.

Looking at pictures on the internet is a terrible way to judge a car. Criticizing how it was derived is just dumb.

That’s fantastic.

The Supra is a great recommendation. I’m convinced that everyone that bashes it online has never been in one.

Toyota is the largest automaker in the world and this infotainment system is being used across numerous models. Amortized across each vehicle sold, the development costs are close to negligible. Why do you care what Toyota spends on something as nominal as this? There are plenty of features in plenty of cars that have

What? You’re still describing how CarPlay works. You don’t need a subscription for anything. It sounds like you should do some reading on how CarPlay and Android Auto work.

Then don’t use the third option. Who cares?

You must have missed the part where this supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
