There’s precedence here.

Until the Bronco, the Wrangler had near zero competition.

They never seem as special as their price.

I’m in a mid-sized crew cab and couldn’t disagree more. My 5.5' bed has done absolutely everything I’ve wanted to do with it and I use the bed for stuff at least weekly that I wouldn’t want inside the cabin. I’ve got enough room in the cab for my wife, daughter, and dog. I don’t need more bed, but the cab space of a

Can yet to be released cars be the answer? 400z. Its a reskinned 370z with 50 more horsepower for more money (it’s looking like at least $10k more). Everyone is losing their minds over it but the almost identical (sans engine) 370z is never mentioned or brought up anymore. Why all the hype?

I largely agree, but I think there could be a place for a 100 mile range car. The bigger issue I see is that it’s a 100 mile range car in the mid-$30's. You might be able to convince some buyers that a 100-mile car is a perfect daily/second vehicle, but not at that price. That’s a low-$20's proposition.

Probably something like a 918, LaFerrari, or P1, but I haven’t (and never will) have the privilege of driving one.

Driving slow cars fast is so much more enjoyable than driving a fast car slow; that’s one reason I got rid of my M5. This is where Miatas excel. I have an Mr2 Spyder now. It only has 138hp, but its size, weight (2195lbs), gearing, and mid engine, rear wheel drive design make it a blast to drive through the mountains

So the new Z is a reskinned old Z with a new engine? And the old Z was marginally changed from the Z prior to that which was also on the FM platform? So we’ve got a 20 year old platform design with a different engine. What are people so excited about here?

Internet armchair reviews don’t care about anything but specs on paper. In reality, none of these people were ever going to get either of these cars. I don’t expect a 20 year old Nissan platform to really be competitive with a modern collaboration between BMW and Toyota. This is like comparing an SN95 with a Coyote to

Looks like I can’t read very well. Thanks for highlighting that, I missed it.

Tacos seem messy. Hotdogs are pretty solid road food. 2 for $1 at Sheetz makes them convenient to pick up when refueling. Bread doesn’t leave your hands greasy to transfer to your steering wheel. The tubular shape makes taking a bite easy while also keeping the food all together.

Was one of the Supras you tested a 2.0? How did that compare to the GR86?

The Z looks basically like a 350Z?

Have you driven one? I remember years ago driving my cousin’s BRZ and I had the same opinion until I drove it.

Better than the Miata? I found the ND1 better than the 1st gen BRZ, and the ND2 was just a further improvement. I’m mostly interested in his the 2nd gen stacks up against the ND2.

It does matter, it just hasn’t mattered yet.

1st: Was he wrong though? Just because it hasn’t tanked yet doesn’t mean Tesla’s stock price isn’t insane. Maybe Tesla is worth more than all the other major automakers combined, but that seems like a stretch. The only way I can get there is if the entire world converts to EVs and none of the other automakers respond.

This is a tough question to answer as any neat tech that was actually useful went mainstream.

Some Prius models do similar.
