If only they offered something besides this red and greyscale.

I remain somewhat worried that automakers have finally realized that they don’t need to sell $20,000 cars anymore because obviously all the real money is in the $40,000 and $50,000 ones
Porsche will let you do custom colors, so probably that. They also have a decent palette of standard or optional colors to select from.
Notice how I said, “beside the driver’s window.”
It seems like there is a bunch of excitement about it, so I see where you’re coming from on that reading comprehension bit.
HEVs and PHEVs don’t necessarily use the same sort of drivetrain or the same sort of hybridization. PHEVs have to be able to run as EVs whereas HEVs don’t. I’d really like to see a PHEV Tundra too, though. I’d probably trade my Tacoma in on it if it wasn’t obscenely priced.
Really twisting that pretty hard. What they donated to those people was a drop in the bucket compared to their overall donations to members of congress on both sides of the aisle. Toyota has a very large PAC, and donated more to democrats in 2020 than they did to republicans. You’re making it out to be a malicious…
Is Toyota, the king of hybrids, going to offer a hybrid drivetrain or get left behind by Ford?
What, exactly is the use case for that other than “neat”?
Bottom line, if the Tundra fails to innovate and update the outgoing model in any sort of functional manner, it’s going to be a complete dud.
Why would anyone ever need or want to open the back window?
Wait...your whole argument is that because air conditioning exists, windows shouldn’t roll down? Did you ever consider that people might just like having windows that roll down?
Oh, you’ve bought into Tesla’s idiocy. Got it.
Show me the iPhone modular repairs though.
There is a pretty big difference between a $1000 phone or computer, both of which offer modular repairs, and a $50,000 car needing a $16,000 repair.
16k for a very large critical item on a car isnt that outrageous
LIDAR measures distance. That’s all it does.
I bet it still took less water to extinguish than a Tesla fire.
2nd: What a shitty take on a story. Can you write anything without your teenage angst coming through?
idk, man. Porsche did a pretty nice job with the Taycan. I find it very compelling. I’d rather have it than a Panamera. That’s the only EV that seems interesting to me though. I otherwise agree with you.
