Yeah. The actual gameplay does feel like it needed another year in development. The ideas are good, but the bones feel shaky. It just needs tuning to feel better.

............... I absolutely hate myself for saying this but............
In total honesty, I didn’t know who this guy was until this week. I’m not making any comment about how common my experience is, especially since he’s apparently a gaming youtuber.
There is a reality that pit bulls are an incredibly strong animal, so they are fundamentally more dangerous as a function of that power.
I mention Elden Ring because it’s the game of them that I’ve played. I can’t comment on the art direction of the others.
There are many wonderful things about Elden Ring, but I don’t think it deserves an art direction nomination. It’s just typical soulsborne design with a slightly softer palette.
Tinkaton evolution line is amazing and I love it. For the most part the others are various levels of forgettable. Individuals I like here and there, but outside of the excalibur dragons I’m not thrilled with any other evolutionary line. Really dislike what they chose to do with the starters, tragically.
Genre also matters. Mandalorian was a Western, with a lot of action set pieces. Andor is a slow-burn political/spy thriller.
I think he was fantastic in Rogue One, too, it’s just that the part wasn’t written to show as much range as we get here. But juxtaposing both his anger with Jyn after not killing Galen and his humility later, when the rebellion was all falling apart, was always very well done acting work.
The difference is that Mando had opted into a life of violence, so it’s natural he’d find it everywhere.
I haven’t seen anything on Kotaku which compares to io9 lately. They’ll do show reviews, make the title the major spoiler, with a photo, and then put content below a spoiler warning in the actual body of the post as if they didn’t just give it all away.
Nah, I definitely feel like it’s the latter. The fact that it has the same error as Pokemon suggests the issue is that someone else got the license, to the poin that they don’t even want the Pokemon fan creations on the site.
The lego model for it truly is fantastic though.
Exactly.
It’s not policing another country - it’s making commentary about a product sold within your own country. The European and American market for Final Fantasy 15, for instance, were both far, far larger than the Japenese market was. America is 80% larger, Europe is 50% larger
Which for Miles didn’t really matter. There aren’t enough cards that really maximize on move mechanics to make access to him really affect anything.
I mean, it’s what, $130 a year? That IS a lot. Season passes in games have gotten just way, way, way too expensive at this point.
Sometimes they really work. Unfortunately, none of these designs (including the croc) do it for me at all. I had such high hopes for them, because I loved all the original forms, too.
I see enchantress and cosmo in nearly every single deck I go against.
I truly don’t know what image you’re looking at, because it legitimately just looks like a fuecoco in a hat. Like, not even changed - just straight up a fuecoco + hat.
