I was fine with the graphics. What killed it for me was the total lack of a tutorial. I don’t have the kind of patience to figure out a game that’s telling me nothing.

Keep it cold? Keep it filled is what I meant lol

Yeah, a much better tip would be:

I truly cannot imagine acting with that camera immediately in front of your face like that. It must make focusing on the right thing so hard. Like if your head is oriented in that direction, but your site mark is behind the camera? That must take so much conscious effort to keep your eyes believably focused.

Honestly, yes. Twitter has been incredible for connecting certain communities that may be geographically isolated. Folx with disabilities, for instance. And it’s been pretty good for sex workers.

No.

I love when my opponents snap the first turn, tbh. All it does is take a tool out of their toolbelt for later - they lose the opportunity to play psychological games with me entirely. Because a snap on turn 1 means nothing.

I totally agree with you in general. But I think Filoni has kinda said he’s not ready for that level of responsibility, as of yet, and I respect that. But he’s definitely someone whose career I’m VERY interested in watching.

Oh I love Rogue One, lol. Saw it twice in the huge NYC imax this summer when it had the limited release.

Yeah, it’s consistently mind boggling to me how consistently Hollywood execs think they know better than creatives. Or you know what, that’s unfair. How consistently Hollywood rewards execs who don’t understand when to check creatives.

Yeah, absolutely.

lmao absolutely fair.

All your opinions about TLJ as a piece of art are entirely and wholly valid. Like, this is the thing about art, it exists for you to react to it. And, while I’m sad you didn’t get the joy out of it that I did, I’m super interested in having discussions with people like you because it’s part of what makes art

They’re finally actually doing that again with Andor.

Yeah. Johnson’s biggest weakness as a filmmaker is consistently the middle of his films. He’s great at the opening/closing, but he gets a bit weaker in keeping things moving/interesting between those points. He found a great plot device in the force connection between Rey and Ren, but the chase and the canto bright

That’s the problem though - he DIDN’T derail anything. Disney began the trilogy with legitimately no plan for the trilogy whatsoever, and gave him absolutely no guidance. (Edit: to be clear, I mean this literally. Disney spent so much money acquiring Star Wars that they were concerned and felt like they had to get the

With Andor providing such a refreshing look at Star Wars when it’s not just the same tropes/storytelling approaches, I’m once again super excited for Johnson’s trilogy. So I really hope it happens.

Agreed. I’m really, really loving it.

I’ve legitimately not looked forward to the next episode of anything like I have for Andor in years. I had honestly forgotten what this feeling was like.
