I have nothing to say about the larger point you’re making, because I don’t follow SE news in general, but I do think you’re misinterpreting your FF7R numbers.

which is somehow still better than every other streaming service. bleak

I haven’t seen all the films on this list, but I’m always surprised by how some of them are misinterpreted. Because none of the movies are particularly subtle about their messaging.

Yeah, I always find it FASCINATING when people hate her performance when, to me, it’s stellar.

Yeah, and that would be valid.... if literally anyone EVERY combined this rhetoric with a counterexample about that demonstrates how they are the backhoe to the shovel.

There’s a fundamental difference there. In the “Good German” scenario, we’re talking about something that happened over the course of years and it happened within their own borders, down the road from their villages. The railways used to transport Jewish (and otherwise) prisoners ran through their towns. And the

I do get this equivocation, but I think there’s something dangerous in it.

This deal includes 3 studios, not just Crystal Dynamics.

The headline might be clickbaity, but it’s actually more honest than the one you wrote. The average user has no clue about the implications of ad trackers, and THAT’S what this is ultimately about.

I mean, throwing you into a monster hunt zone with zero guidance is also EXACTLY what the experience of playing Monster Hunter is, though.

I think this is way too much of a zero-sum argument. You are working on the assumption (from your first comment) that demos are ineffectual at actually widening a market for a game - that the only people who will play a demo are already planning to buy it.

Last I read on it, the reason you are more likely to get sick in the rain is the same as in winter... and the answer to neither is “cold.

There’s a concept for creating an artificial magnetosphere that, as I understand it, would sit at a lagrange point between the Sun and Mars.

They’re definitely dominant, but I wouldn’t call them a monopoly.

In High Costs, add wedding cakes.

I’d love FFX Bahamut in particular. All the Bahamut designs are always awesome, because huge dragons in JRPGs, but the style of the FFX one is just phenomenal.

Holy mansplaining batman

Yeah, this was my experience, too. I haven’t used one since pre-pandemic, but I was so much more willing to go see something on a subscription. Before, it was always a cost-benefit analysis of this ONE film, so I only went to see the big blockbusters I wanted to see in theater.

I’m largely okay with mobile ecosystems evolving in ways which might make past games unplayable, as long as devs have the option of updating them. I respect that devs may choose not to, or may lack the resources to keep up with it (or the cost-benefit ratio isn’t there), but I’m ultimately okay with it as long as

I also HIGHLY recommend you post your “final” build, using PCPartsPicker, to r/buildapc or similar, after you do all your research and such but before you start buying.
