This is a terrible argument. If each feature or design philosophy is considered on its own merits, in line with the goals of the devs, then there’s no problem.

A note about the egg peeler - a lot of those kinds of products are actually developed as disability assistance devices, and end up getting sold in informercials as a way to make them worth manufacturing. The average person absolutely doesn’t need that egg peeler. But someone who doesn’t have dextrous fingers certainly

Speaking as someone who plays FFXIV, one of the few games that gives (nearly) equal representation to both genders in terms of revealing clothes options... You see a lot of male models wearing leather harnesses and booty shorts, and you see a lot of female models wearing relatively modest clothing.

With the switcheroo, you mean, in Iron Man 3? That would have worked better if Killian was a more compelling villain. I appreciate them for trying it, though.

I’m intrigued by each of the starters. The designs seem “simpler” again, like older starters were, which makes me hopeful. Lately pokemon have been over-designed, imo, so we’ll see...

Following up that now the thumbnail doesn’t seem to be the chest any longer. So I’m okay with the state now. If you click into this article, you shouldn’t be surprised there’s a spoiler, and the headline isn’t a spoiler without the picture of the chest. 

You don’t need to study the picture to take in those details. Studying the image should offer WAY more in the way of details than that.

I personally feel like all game reviews should A) start with a breakdown of the author’s preferred genres and favorite games and B) should have two authors, reviewed by both someone who loves the genre and someone who is indifferent to it.

Um, in the clientele section you completely left out that Omega’s Afterlife has tons of aliens, which is objectively WAY cooler than any other clientele category.

The marketing for this game was essentially non-existant or bland. It shouldn’t be surprising at all that sales targets weren’t met. The actual launch had almost no fanfare with it.
