Watch in horror as your mother-in-law loads that browser to check her email on your laptop because “that’s the one she’s used to”.

Like everyone else said, go talk to some experts. You’re making several common misconceptions, which is fine! That’s why they’re common! But a diversified portfolio (and time) will protect you. Also, your 401(k) can be a great primary retirement fund and be protected from market swings as your get closer to

Swapping the transfer case in my old ZJ. Didn’t realize that there was 4 (5? can’t remember atm) different input shaft length and teeth number combos. My particular Jeep had an input shaft that was only used on the 1995.5 model year. In order to swap out the shafts I had to take it to a shop. Turns out they also

You also described every muscle car. Guess those are dumb too?

The restrained approach is the thing I love most about my Uncle’s TJ. It’s amazing how quickly you can doucheify a Wrangler...

Running Jeep? You realize David doesn’t have any of those, right?

The 80's Truck was never a full size truck though. Until the current Tundra they were always smaller all around intentionally.

Also missed the Triple Crown.

The only thing I disagree with is 2wd. Give me bare bones everything, but for the love of God, just leave me my 4wd.

I’ll take that as “yes I am a complete and utter dumbshit”.

Well, it’s an article about electric cars replacing ICE cars. And I was responding to this statement of yours specifically:

My family has cabin that’s 600 miles away that I visit 2-3 times a year. I usually stop once or twice on the way for gas/food for a max of 10 minutes at a time. There’s no way in hell I’m adding at least an hour onto that trip.

THAT TAEK WAS TOO HOT

Yeah I was exclusively looking at capacity from an off-road standpoint. I’d put LR on equal footing, but they don’t compete in all the same classes... LR doesn’t have anything as small as a Compass or Renegade, and lets be honest, no other cute-ute is going to touch them when they hit the trail.

I think part of it (on the website at least) is that the Trail Rated section is a landing page for various dimensions and specifications that aren’t listed elsewhere. Also lets be honest, no one shopping for a Renegade gives a real rats ass how wide it is compared to a GC or Wrangler when it comes to off-roading. They
