Yeah not too bad usually, worse part is bolts in crappy places that you can't get a good angle on without removing other components. Or bolts that just won't budge. But very much in the DIY realm if you are comfortable.

Also some shops like Oreilys can resurface your rotors, and even just taking the rotors themselves into a shop to have them resurfaced is pretty cost effective.

Ah, but Jonathon Ive is pretty much Dieter Rams 2.0... everything Ive has designed in the past 10 years directly draws from Ram's designs.

As I current industrial design major, I can't disagree with that it might not be the most exciting form, but it remains fresh all these years later, and has great details. I find it understated, not dull.
