@valleyval: Right? Jon Gosselin or not, a celebrity Amazing Race sounds awful. If Jon Gosselin were in it, it would be even worse, but the whole idea? Sucks. #jongosselin
I've been reading lots of comments elsewhere about why on earth this mother let her child walk home alone and it's pissing me off. I don't know the particulars for this family but I have to work. I can't be waiting for my kid every day, no matter how much I might like to. The issue isn't that the mother wasn't…
I love when politicians condemn things as a "political move." How do they do that with a straight face? Political moves are what pay your salary, asshole.
Hmm, it does begin to explain some of the problems within the Republican party these days. #johnmccain
You know, it is a good question. Why wouldn't more women turn to being high-priced call girls when the other option is to marry assholes like this? #prostitution
These women know they're being profiled on Bridezillas, right? So are they acting worse when the cameras are around or are they just consistently awful? That woman is unreal. #bridezillakaren
This is a question that can really only be entertained in a country that provides care for its citizens. Taking maternity leave in this country is usually unpaid and, in my case, I'm now responsible for the full cost of health care for my family—which will be close to $1000/month once Baby Girl gets here (and that's…
I've said it before and I'll say it again: under the Obama administration, we have reached mid-October without a major terrorist attack destroying 3 iconic American buildings or launching a war. How is that weaker? How are we less safe? Your dad's administration left a whole terrorist network in Iraq, where there…
@TheFormerJuneBronson: Yeah, I've seen Madisyn, Addisyn, Macyn, Havyn, Emersyn, etc. Really?
If parents don't want overused names, how come Emily and Madison and Anna are still so high on the list? Seems like you can't walk down the street without bumping into several of each.
I remember skipping meals as a teen-ager and thinking I was fat but I didn't necessarily skip meals because I thought I was fat. Not always, anyway. Sometimes I skipped meals because I was a little ball of angst and my stomach was tied in knots. Sometimes I was too busy.
I never understood why it was okay to have a "Choose Life" plate but not okay to have any pro-choice plate. Everyone has a right to free speech, as long as anti-choicers have the final say on what constitutes free speech?
He's damned no matter what. The decision to keep running for President when he knew there was dirt (and a KID) just sitting out there, waiting to be an October Surprise, pissed off lots of liberals here in the Carolinas.
@wtfox?!: Seriously. The only thing that would keep me from going to help a friend in that situation would be that I was too drunk to drive. And in that case, I'd take a cab.
Dude, you made out with Puck and were a jerk to Pedro. Get off your pedestal.
I did always feel bad for the Klebolds and Harrises because they lost their kids too—and have to live with the knowledge that the children they loved were responsible for untold anguish, suffering, loss, grief, and pain. That's a hell of a burden to bear.
@morninggloria: Johnny Depp said he he channeled Keith Richards for Capt. Jack Sparrow...but is that so different, really?
@EdenMoore: If you're heavier to begin with, it can be harder to feel the baby's movements. It would also be harder to notice weight gain. For a lot of pregnancy, fetal movement can feel like gas.
