The U.K. is rather different. Most people with cats have cat flaps so the cats can come and go as they please. And there’s a very interesting documentary somewhere about a large study of cat roaming patterns. They tagged every cat in a village and charted their daily patterns. Some would enter a stranger’s house and

It wasn’t that quick. I cross-shopped it against my 91 Talon TSi-AWD, and it was $5K more expensive (in Canada) and a few seconds slower. The Talon was a ridiculously fast car for less than $30K.

I thought it was naturally-aspirated.

The Toybaru twins are pretty much the same, except RWD.

I’ve tried to have a die-cast and/or model kit of every car I’ve owned. I have the CRX, WRX, and GT-86, and my nephew has the RX-300 somewhere, but nobody ever produced any of the Diamond Star cars to my knowledge, so I’ve never get my Eagle Talon Tsi-AWD to complete the set.

I hope someone makes a documentary about Colin Chapman and Lotus. The philosophy of small cars, small engines, and perfect handling has been with the company for over fifty years, with varying degrees of success, but I’d love to hear the background behind the company.

You mean, like the metric system, and tap-to-pay?

Oh, please, let Warner Bros. buy them. I have this killer Batman/James Bond cross-over treatment that cover never get made otherwise.

You have to be flexible with the schedule. They pushed ahead with Die Another Day despite a writer’s strike and look what happened. I really liked Brosnan, and thought he had one or Bond movies left in him, but Die Another Day really burned that bridge.

MGM has been fucking up the Stargate IP for ten years now. Yeah, Universe was a dog, but SG-1 and Atlantis showed the property has real legs and a huge fan base. And MGM has just been burning that good will down to the ground.

Oh, God. Back to the eighties.

God. And he’s been doing this for over forty years (by my count). He’s fucking amazing.

Have you read Machiavelli?

No kidding. High and Dry was good, Pyromania was amazing, but Hysteria was fucking lightning in a bottle. You may dislike Hysteria but you can’t deny the sales figures and the number of charting singles. Absolutely unheard of for a ‘rock’ or ‘metal’ album.

Personally, I blame the parents (‘Skylar’ for fuck’s sake. What did you expect?)

Somebody I went to university with fell in love with a serial killer. He ended up killing her. Who knew?

Best regards

To be fair, Hysteria is one of the greatest albums ever made.

Here she is, in full make-up and heels, with one of the greatest stand-up bits ever:

Fuck, who doesn’t seem tired, after this year?
