There aren’t any exceptions for me, so at least I can claim I don’t wholly agree.
There aren’t any exceptions for me, so at least I can claim I don’t wholly agree.
Trying to think of the exceptions...
I’ve been wracking my brains trying to think of even one exception...
He’s raging. He’s fuming, seething, yelling at televisions and staff. He’s spiteful and vindictive. He calls people names and is thinking about starting a nuclear war because he wasn’t able to take health care away from 23 million Americans, and needs to keep frightening people and keep the attention on him. Puerto…
He also said something about the NFL paying proper taxes for once. It was for entirely the wrong reasons , but that’s 2 whole things I agree with him on.
Reports are that most of the Royal Family can’t stand the wanker.
“Awarding” money to Vegas? That makes it sound like “hey you win for having the highest death count in a mass shooting this year! Congrats!”
The average citizen has no fucking clue how taxes work in general. I’m consistently amazed at how many people think that, if you make over a certain amount of money, you’ll actually lose money because of taxes.
I’ve seen it myself right here in the Jez comments. There was a commenter who swore taxes were lower in Sweden — by pulling this cute trick of only mentioning one very precise type of Swedish national tax (and ignoring all others) and comparing it to every tax and fee combined that they had to pay in America,…
People do really believe this. I get told this on a regular basis from US residents who insist they pay more tax than literally anywhere else in the world.

This has been going on for decades and it’s always amazed me how US citizens are one of the lowest taxed populations on the entire planet, while simultaneously being the most upset about having to pay taxes.
I would enjoy him getting smoked by that adorable clock boy.
What I need from you, is how to cure it.
I do think they believe it, because it has been repeated as a right-wing talking point for so long. Like many tenets of conservative ideology, its truth arises from the fact that it is dogma, not any relation to reality. High taxes, war on coal, excessive government regulation: these are the three things holding back…
They are probably excluding all those damn pinko countries (with better education and health care and infant mortality rates and standards of living) when they say that.
They’re all terrified of the Roy Moore effect. Bannon is already planning to fund primary opponents against guys like Dean Heller and Jeff Flake who briefly stepped out of line. Anyone else who does a Corker will find the full force of Fox et al. trained on them in an instant.
I would pay to watch 45 taking IQ test life and fail.
