I do my best to avoid tons of mud and I prefer to stick to the rocks off road. I do prefer the KO2s to the Duratracs on the road in the dry and (especially) rain, though in the snow I thought they were similar if not marginally better. Really? I had Duratracs on my JK and hated them. I have KO2s now and I love everything about them. They are better at everything than the Duratracs.

Hmmm.. If they offer this with the extended cab and 6.5' bed at a non-astronomical price I might be interested. I’ve given up on the Gladiator being worthwhile as a pickup.

I’ve considered buying into one of those Maxjax lifts. What’s mostly stopped me is the limited ceiling height (9'6) and the Jeep height (6'6) which means I’d get a whopping 3 feet of lift. Right? This was the biggest draw to the special edition. It didn’t need anything really different or special because it’s wearing an actual color. The Miata color lineup is so bland, a vinyl wrap basically needs to be considered in the purchase price.

I still have mine in the attic. I think the gearbox is shot and it’s missing a battery cover, but it’s in good shape otherwise. Maybe a 3d printed restoration is in order..

Yes! You are my kind of Jeep people. I have done exactly that and it is everything you want it to be. I kept waiting for the big snow storm this year but it didn’t work out. I want to put the windshield down.

Under the wrong conditions, this is about how I feel after long trips in a ‘12 Wrangler.. Of course I do it to myself, gambling with the weather while leaving my roof and doors at home. I’m ok with it.

Ok yeah this is awesome.

Yeah I’m just still bitter over the tiny bed, vast expanse of unnecessary interior space, and the ultra long wheelbase that comes along with it. 

Really depends what you want out of the truck. I’ll take a foot of extra bed and a lot less wheelbase in place of 2 seats that will sit empty.
