That's how I feel with my ipad too except I was talked out of getting the 3G version from my wife but ultimately regretted it a few months down the road. When the next ipad hits I'll be getting 3G version and when I get a vita I will be picking up the 3G version as well.

Great tip. I started doing this a few years ago when I went to buy a new a/v receiver. After that it just became routine to hunt for the model of what I wanted then look for the manual online and study it.
