The Conquest TSi/Starion always was my childhood dream car. I just watched a lot of robotech and other anime as a kid and those flares over the wheels made it feel like this car would up and transform into a power suit around the driver. Plus that das was like a star fighter come to life.

if i’m not mistaken, AI has been relegated to simple droids and not large purpose ships, due to some historical conflict...That’s why the droids are rather purpose built, as opposed to general AI.
