Government, low bid dev probably never heard of OWASP. Burp Suite or Zed and your client side processing is mine. eShoplifting is a real thing.

As a web developer, that’s just lazy programming on the part of whoever developed this. The handoff between the payment processor and the auction site should have been handled entirely in the backend, and not some client-side process or token that a user could manipulate.
I wonder if they were doing something lazy like passing the bid amount in the query string...
On the one hand, I totally get that this was not a fatal problem and everyone is getting a little worked up.

Calling it a wing disintegrating I actually think is fair, since the general public won’t know the difference between the structural part of the wing and its control surfaces, and certainly won’t know the proper terminology. They’ll recognize its one of the moving parts on the wing and not know what to call it, and…

So the math here is just “Sell price reported by True car”/ MSRP of that car?
Their data is ancient. The market has changed so much since 2022. Try hitting the REFRESH button Consumer Reports. These vehicles are almost all selling below msrp now thanks to the recession and hybrid/bev market being satieted.
I think there’s something fishing going on with how they measure “markup” for this analysis because most of the cars on this list are readily available at or under MSRP on autotrader.
The problem of the Bolt was the work of GM’s supplier, otherwise it is a good EV...
This?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sure.
It’s still not as boring and lazy as the art

I went to the Chicago Auto Show on Tuesday with a friend of mine. The Blazer EV was something we took our time to look at, and we found it quite nice! Then came the fun part:
Do these things send their footage to a “cloud” of sorts? Seems like it shouldn’t be too hard to identify the perps if they can access the footage.
Personally I’m a skeptic of the self driving projects but I think its a little premature to hint this was due to local animosity towards Waymo. From the description of the event it comes across more like general rioting.
