Normally suing somebody for not advertising with you , would be laughed out of any court. But notice that Tesla is filing this lawsuit in the right wing kangaroo court in Texas.  You know that court will ignore the Constitution and precedents and make a ludicrous ruling.

Bumpers are designed to protect against rear ending, but a lot of times a rear end accident would involve both cars brake-diving, and the car in the back hitting the car in front on the underside of the bumper. So a bumper would certainly have to be designed to take a hit from underneath as well.

Is it just me, or did SiriusXM reception get noticeably worser since these Starlink satellites came along? Nowadays sometimes when I am driving under a wide open sky, the signal would mysteriously cut out for a few seconds.

It wasn’t anywhere near a 6' drop. And at that angle, most of the weight was on the front wheels. In any event, the point of the bumper, is to sacrifice itself to protect the frame. Here we have a bumper that looks to be in pretty good shape even after the frame snapped. Something is wrong with this picture.

Woah, hold on there- in my experience semi truck drivers tend to be fairly professional.  Now lifted 4WD pickup trucks on the other hand, are guaranteed to be driven by some aggro a-hole.

That is what I am afraid of- all these manufacturers doing all their testing on car-vs-car interactions, and forget about motorcycles or bicycles. Earlier there was an independent test of various manufacturers’ automatic braking systems, and many of them failed to see motorcycles.

The Mach-E is one of the more distinctive cars out there. I don’t consider it a safe blend-in design at all.

I usually push my butt as far back into the chairback as possible and then tighten the seatbelt. This prevents my butt from sliding forward. I find I can sleep the best in this position.

Why not lie across the seats? Why would you want to lie on the floor?
